Hailing from the vibrant tapestry of Singapore, I have always held a deep love for cooking and baking, a passion I inherited from my Nonya grandma and Cantonese mother.

Growing up in a household where cooking was more than just a task – it was a celebration of family, traditions, and the diverse flavors of our culture – has profoundly influenced my culinary journey. My grandma and mom's teachings became the foundation of my culinary exploration, sparking a flame that would one day inspire others to embrace the joy of cooking.

Venturing beyond the shores of Singapore to pursue my studies, I soon realized the profound impact that food could have on bridging the gap between home and the unfamiliar. Missing the familiar tastes of Asia, I discovered my ability to recreate the flavors of home in my American kitchen. This realization fueled my passion to not only preserve my cultural roots but also to share the art of Asian cooking with a global audience.
