Summer Camp 2024

Summer is just around the corner, have you planned any camps for your child yet? This summer Baker's Stand is introducing our Life Skills & Science Summer Camp , a unique program that combines the art of Asian cuisine with essential life skills and Physics exploration.

At the heart of our camp is an immersive dive into the world of classic Asian bites. Campers will learn the secrets to making delicious bao buns and dumplings from scratch. You'll learn the sciences behind the ingredients and explore the differences between cooking methods such as steaming vs baking and discover how these techniques impact the texture and flavor of your dough-based creations. From mastering the perfect pleating technique to achieving that golden, crispy exterior, you'll develop a whole new appreciation for beloved snacks such as mantous, baos, crystal dumplings, chives and noodles dumplings, and Chinese bakery-style hot dog buns.

In addition to our culinary adventures, we'll tap into our creative and scientific sides and explore fundamental principles of physics by building vehicles. We will design, construct and test it. Participants will delve into the intricacies of motion, velocity, and force while honing problem-solving skills through engaging challenges and experiments. 

As the camp draws to a close, students will put their creations to the ultimate test in a thrilling model car race. Witness the culmination of their hard work and ingenuity as they compete for speed, precision, and innovation. It’s a race to the finish line where learning and adrenaline collide!

Camps are nut free. We can make adjustments as needed. General Ingredients used may include : 

Pork, Ham, Egg, Flour, Milk, Yeast, Sugar, Salt, Soy Sauce, Sesame seeds, Sesame oil, corn, napa cabbage, Cheese, Cream Cheese, Cream, Tapioca Flour, Glutinous Flour,Chives, onions, garlic, green onions, ginger, canola oil, corn oil, Read beans, green beans, mung beans, coconut milk.

4 days camp-$850

July 1-July 5 ( no camp on July 4) 

AM CARE -8-9 am $105 for the whole week

PM CARE - 3-5 $210 for the whole week
