Teddy Bear Trail Camp
Pack your bags and bring your favorite teddy bear for a four day adventure along the Teddy Bear Trail. If you do not have a teddy bear, you are welcome to bring your favorite stuffy or plush friend instead. In this imaginative camp, campers and their plush companions travel through fun “destinations” filled with hands on crafts, sewing, cooking, and games.
Children will create special travel gear for their bears, such as sewing a mini backpack or a cozy sleeping bag, design their own trail maps, and even make a simple rubber stamp to mark their teddy bear passport as they reach each stop along the trail. Along the way, campers will also make themed snacks like trail mix or bear shaped treats inspired by their journey.
Campers will also learn simple budgeting using play travel money and make choices at the Trail Market. Each stop on the trail builds creativity, confidence, and practical skills while encouraging storytelling and imaginative play. Projects will be adjusted based on each child’s age and skill level so both younger and older campers can participate comfortably.
Recommended for students entering Kindergarten through Grade 5.
