In this imaginative craft camp, kids bring their favorite characters to life through hands on projects. Inspired by characters they love, from cute creatures to fantasy heroes, campers will learn how to design and create their own versions using a variety of craft techniques.
The camp begins with character design, where children learn how to sketch and plan their ideas. They will explore how to choose colors, shapes, and materials that best fit the character they want to create. Campers will learn beginner sewing skills as they make a soft felt stuffy inspired by a character they like. They will also explore other materials to create their characters, including candle wax and soap, and learn how to mold and decorate soaps or candles shaped like fun characters.
Throughout the camp, children will practice creative thinking, develop basic sewing skills, and learn a range of crafting techniques while bringing their imagination to life.
