Sewing Classes

Sewing Class: Learn New Skills. Create Handmade Gifts
Dive into the world of sewing in this beginner-friendly, hands-on class at Baker’s Stand Studio. You’ll master the essentials—threading the machine, winding bobbins, and stitching fundamental seams like straight, zigzag, and back stitch. Each week brings a new project designed to build your confidence and expand your skill set.

Create practical items you’ll actually use: a fabric pouch perfect for gifts, a sturdy pot holder and matching oven mitt for your kitchen, plus choose between a stylish sun hat or roomy tote bag ideal for errands or gifting. You’ll learn to read basic pattern pieces, finish raw edges neatly, and select the right fabrics and notions for each design.

By the end of class, you’ll have finished projects. You’ll also gain the confidence to change patterns. This will help you create your own sewing adventures at home.
